The Wildlife Research Institute presents Hawkwatch 2004 every Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon, through the end of February. You will see raptors such as the Golden Eagle, the Red-Tailed Hawk, and the Red-Shouldered Hawk, learning the life-histories of hawks and eagles and the significance of the Ramona Grasslands ecosystem to the raptors’ survival from Wildlife Research Institute Biologists. This free, educational program is open to the public and rewarding for all ages.
Take Highway 67 to Ramona and turn North (NW) on Highland Valley Road for 2 miles and look for sign on the right at 18030 Highland Valley Road.
