Ramona Rotary Club Scholarships

The Ramona Rotary Club will again this year be awarding four $2,000 college scholarships to deserving 2004 local high school graduates. Students with 3.0 or better GPA who will be attending a fully accredited college or technical school are eligible to apply. Involvement in extra-curricular activities, community service and financial need are important qualifications. Recommendations from two teachers and one non-relative outside the school are required as part of the application.

Students from Ramona High School, Montecito High School and Julian High School are invited to apply. One half of the scholarship is awarded at the beginning of the student’s first year in college, and the other half at the beginning of the second year.

Application forms are available a the schools’ counseling offices and completed applications must be returned by April 1.
