Arts Afire

The Ramona High School Visual and Performing Arts Department proudly announces their first annual Arts Showcase, "Arts Afire," to celebrate the artistic talent and achievements of their students.

This semi-formal, catered dinner, silent auction, opportunity drawing, concert and student art exhibit will be held on Saturday, May 22, at 6 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Olive Peirce Middle School, next to Ramona High School.

They are hoping to raise community awareness and significant monies to help support the arts programs and are actively seeking donated items to auction off. They will be featuring student artwork, as well as dance numbers, and choral and instrumental music. Students will be waiting tables and catering to every need of the patrons.

Presale tickets are $20, which include a catered meal by Mamma Rosa’s, coffee, iced tea, and cheese­cake, as well as a top-notch performance of dance, choral, and instrumental music. For information call (760) 787-4105.
