Julian Motoring Show to Benefit Firefighters
Show seeks classic and vintage car and motorcyle entries

Julian Classic Motoring Show, July 3, 2004.

The San Diego, California historic gold rush town of Julian will host its first annual "Julian Independence Celebration Classic Automobile Show" on July 3, 2004 at Julian’s Menghini Winery. Select classic touring and vintage racing cars from the turn-of-the-century through the 1970 are being invited to the show.

A highlight for participants will be a Saturday night "Great Gatsby Reception" at the Pine Hills Lodge. Participants and their guests will be encouraged to wear 1920’s era dress, or white clothing, for this dinner dance.

Owners of pre-1970 vintage race or classic touring cars, or Special Interest classic cars of any age, who would like to display their car on Saturday, July 3, should request an entry packet by contacting the Julian Classic Motoring Society at julianautoshow@netscape.net or by calling (760) 765-2072.

The public is invited to view the cars and meet with the owners at the grounds of the Menghini Winery from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 3rd.

The classic automobile show and Sunday’s July 4th Independence Day Parade are free to spectators.
