Ramona High School’s Vocational Industrial Clubs of America Competed in Skills-USA State Conference

Ramona High School’s Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA) competed April 22 to 25 in the Skills-USA State Conference. This was Ramona’s 15th year at the state conference where about 750 students converged to find the best in each contest area. Respective contest areas were Power Equipment Technology, Automotive Service Technology, Collision Repair Technology, Welding, Drafting, Customer Service, and Public Speaking. Ramona High School competitors earned the right to compete at state by competing with 35 high schools and earning a gold medal at the regional contest last January at Colton High School.

Regional Vice President, John Pollett will be attending leadership training and the national voting delegate meetings while five of the gold medalists will be attending the national conference in Kansas City, Missouri, June 21-25, this summer.
