Time For Tea

Once again, it’s time for a tea party with the Ramona Women’s Connection.

The group will host a high tea accompanied by special music from 11:30 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. on Sept. 15, at the San Vicente Room at the San Vicente Inn in San Diego Country Estates.

The tea will include “Tea Room” delicacies such as finger sandwiches, scones, jellies, decorated desserts and plenty of flavored tea.

Those who collect teapots or have a special one at home are encouraged to bring them. Judges will award the prettiest teapot and the teapot with the most interesting “story.”

Guests also are encouraged to dress the part in vintage or Victorian-era hats and clothing.

Keynote speaker is Donna-Marie Lockerbie, a former medical assistant, business owner, community college instructor and mother of six children. She will share her life story, titled “When all else fails — read the instructions!”
