Warner Springs Cultural Association 2005 Astronomy Series Jet

Propulsion Labs, NASA, and Caltech invite you to a fascinating evening with Dr. Michael A’Hearn discussing Deep Impact. Deep Impact’s Delta II rocket was launched on January 12, 2005 from Kennedy Space Center in Florida and will impact the Comet Tempel 1 on July 5, 2005. Comet Tempel 1, discovered in 1867, orbits the Sun every 5.5 years.

The discussion is Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 8:00 p.m. at the Warner Springs School located on 30951 Highway 79 in Warner Springs.
