Ramona Garden Club Rose Garden Is Community Project Ramona Garden Club will be planting a rose garden at Ramona Senior Center, 434 Aqua Lane, as a gift to the community. There will be small plaques by each plant, identifying the types of flowers and shrubs. All of the roses in the garden will be red. Ann Turley, left, and Patricia Frederick cleared the sod to make way for the split-rail fence that will have climbing red roses. The fencing was donated by E.P.S. Lumber in Ramona. The roses came from E&K Nursery, also in Ramona. Next on the clubs agenda is turning the garden into a wildlife habitat that will attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The club meets at 10 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month at the center. For more information about the rose garden, call Frederick at (760) 788-9177.
