Holiday Home Tour
Need a jolt of inspiration for your seasonal decorations? The Julian Woman’s Club’s annual Holiday Home Tour, on Friday, Dec. 9, is just the ticket. Tourgoers are invited to view five beautifully decorated Julian homes — this year, the tour features the residences of Ruth Rabenberg; Coco and Monte Leraas; Dana and Bill Pettersen; Diane and Bob Verdugo; and Kathy Rosenow and Frank Spevacekr. The tour begins at the Community United Methodist Church at Highway 78/79 and Pine Hills Road. Holiday shopping will be available at the church, with homemade crafts and baked goods made by Julian Woman’s Club members. Tourgoers will be assigned to a driver who will take them to view the five homes and then back to the church. Doors open at 7:30 a.m., with tour times at 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The tour will take about three hours. The cost of the tour is $15 per person, and all proceeds benefit the Julian Woman’s Club scholarship fund for Julian High School seniors. Tickets are available at Julian Tea and Cottage Arts, 2124 Third St. in Julian, or call (760) 765-0832.
