Taylors Open New Lending Company in Ramona Kent and Emily Taylor announce the formation of a new mortgage lending company, Homestead Lending & Investments, Inc. Homestead Lending is a full-service mortgage lending company which blends the skills of its owners, employees and loan officers. Homestead Lending's offices are located in the Ramona Plaza building at 1140 Main St., Suite 114. The phone number is (760) 789-7880. Homestead Lending originates purchase, refinance, second trust deeds, construction, lot and commercial loans. Two of the loan officers working out of the Ramona office are Steve Herckt and Paul Smail. "Steve and Paul are two of the best loan officers I have worked with, they have a true concern for their client's financial needs and are constantly looking for new lending programs to better serve their clients," Kent Taylor said. Construction, lot and private lending are a specialty of Homestead Lending. Homestead specializes in single family home construction. Trudy Brody, senior underwriter and office manager for Homestead Lending specializes in single close construction loans. A single close construction loan enables Homestead's clients to obtain a loan that will assist with the lot purchase, provide the construction funds and convert to the permanent financing, all in one loan. Emily Taylor, co-owner of Homestead Lending, operates the private lending division of the company.
