Julian Woman's Club Heritage Quilt Show
Join the Julian Woman's Club for its annual Heritage Quilt Show in the Julian Town Hall. This year's theme is "Down on the Farm," and will feature both antique and new quilts with country charm. All of the quilts are loaned by Julian Woman's Club members for the display. An "Opportunity Quilt" was made by professional quiltmaker Eleanor Burns and other members of the Julian Woman's Club. The queen-size, scrappy quilt, made in the Dresden Plate pattern will be raffled off at the end of the show. The raffle will take place July 4, and the winner does not need to be present. Raffle tickets are $1 each, or six for $5. The Heritage Quilt Show will take place June 23 through July 4 from noon to 4 p.m. during the week, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting Mary Ellen Thilken at (760) 765-1578.
