Menghini Winery Hosts Traditional Event

Fathers received a special treat on Father's Day with the sixth annual Spring Barrel Tasting at Menghini Winery.
Spring barrel tasting is a winery tradition. It offers the first taste of wines, aged nine months since harvest, and allows a glimpse of what to expect from the different wineries' upcoming releases.
The traditional activity was sponsored by the San Diego County Vintners Association, with 10 local wineries pouring premium wines. Participating wineries were Twin Oaks Valley, Schwaesdall, Bernardo, Lenora, Shadow Mountain Vineyards, Menghini, J. Jenkins, Witch Creek, San Pasqual and Pamo Valley Vineyards and Winery.
