The first grapes planted are Spain's Tempranillo, which respond to the delicate use of American and French oak, producing deep-colored elegant wines capable of long aging, with sensuous notes of vanilla, cedar and soft spices. Tasting room is available for special events and open by appointment.

Established in 1982, the winery sits in the middle of an old apple orchard. The tasting room is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Catering available by Howling Pig. Many annual events.

The winery is 23 miles north of Santa Ysabel wines. Tasting and tours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and most holidays. Picnic area, bus tours, car clubs, special events and catering are all available.
