The Ramona VFW Post 3783 held a ceremony Aug. 29 at the Memorial Wall on the grounds of the Post in memory of Post Commander Bobby Watt who passed away on Aug. 12.

Over a hundred people attended the ceremony. Pictured above in the black suit is his daughter Diane Garcia, with her family. Several other members of his family and friends were present. VFW members from other Posts and the District were also there to honor Watt.

The VFW ceremony followed a memorial service for Watt at the Mountain View Church. Refreshments prepared by the VFW Ladies Auxiliary were served at the Post between the church service and the memorial ceremony. The ceremony concluded with the placing of his plaque among the many other veterans who are so honored at the VFW Memorial Wall.
