McAnelly Wins Award The California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA), San Diego chapter, has honored Ramona-based Southwest Landscape Construction with a 2006 Beautification Award. Southwest Landscape, owned by Ramona resident Mark McAnelly, received a first-place award in the residential landscaping lighting category for its work at the Curristan resident at San Diego Country Estates in Ramona. The local landscape contractor was among 22 San Diego-area companies that received 36 Beautification awards in 20 categories, culled from 70 entries, at CLCA's recent Beautification Awards program. CLCA is a non-profit, statewide trade association of licensed landscape and landscape-related specialty contractors. The San Diego chapter is one of the largest among the state's 18 CLCA chapters.
