Miss Julian Meets Miss America

Miss Julian 2006, Kathryn "Katie" Olsen, recently participated in M.A.D.D. event in Del Mar and also met the current Miss America, Jennifer Berry.

Miss Julian participated in the Mothers Against Drunk Driving Walk at the San Diego County Fairgrounds on Sept. 30. The walk, sponsored by the Barona Valley Ranch Resort & Casino, also included Miss Julian's "sister" queens, Miss Lakeside and Teen Miss Lakeside.

The walk received national attention due to the attendance of Miss America, and was an excellent opportunity for Miss Julian to remind people "to come and visit Julian."
