On Nov. 17, 2006, Private First Class Alex J. Schlumpberger graduated from the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego among 493 other recruits who successfully completed their boot camp training. His family, Sharon, Jerry, Jessica and Jarrett proudly embrace and congratulate their son Alex, now a U.S. Marine.
