On Veteran's Day weekend, the VFW and Ladies Auxiliary of Ramona Post 3783 and the Ramona Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps were out in the community as a semi-annual fund raiser to help local and national veterans by presenting Buddy Poppies to everyone to wear in honor of those who fought in all wars past and to honor those now serving in the war in Iraq. Shown left to right are NJROTC members Lauren Richardson, Amanda Robershaw, Adi Gutierrez, Daniel Lane and Garrett Flynn who helped to make the Ramona VFW Buddy Poppy weekend a huge success.
