Missoula Children's Theater Comes to Warner Schools Missoula Children's Theater (MCT), the nation's largest touring children's theater will arrive in Warner on Sunday, Dec. 3. They'll have everything it takes to put on the play...except the cast. That's where Warner students come in. The team will hold an open audition and cast from 50 to 60 students to perform in the production. The show is rehearsed throughout the week and will be presented to the public on Friday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. in the Warner Gymnasium. All MCT shows are original productions of classic children's stories. Last year's program, Robin Hood, was well received by all that attended. The shows are all a twist on the classic stories. Also included with the production will be three enrichment workshops for the students presented during the school seek before the actual play. Creativity, social skills goal achievement, communication skills and self-esteem are all characteristics that are attained through the participation in this unique educational project. The goal is the development of life skills in children through participation in the performing arts.
