Julian Carolers

Every Saturday until Christmas, the Wandering Julian Carolers will be filling your ears with holiday spirit from 4 to 6 p.m. on Julian's Main Street.

Living Nativity

Every Saturday until Christmas, experience a Living Nativity at 5:30 p.m. in front of the Julian Cider Mill, on the corner of Main and B streets.

Julian Disabled Residents' Support Group

Julian residents using wheelchairs/walkers/canes and those with other physical disabilities are invited to meet at the Julian Library from 10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Fridays. This is an opportunity to share with others and enjoy social support. Topics will include problem solving, upcoming projects and resource sharing. Library Pre-School Programs

"Bi-lingual Story Hour and Craft" takes place at 11 a.m. Wednesdays; and the "Coloring Table" takes place 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays at the Julian Library.

Featured Artist: Joe Garcia

Joe Garcia will be featured at the Santa Ysabel Art Gallery December through Jan. 7. The exhibit, "Mixing It Up" will feature his wildlife watercolors, plein air oil paintings and large studio oil pieces of wildlife and landscapes. The gallery is located at 30352 Highway 78 at Highway 79 in Santa Ysabel, and is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday. Admission is free. For more information, call 760-765-1676.

Miniature Art Show

Banner Queen Trading Post Gallery will hold its annual "Miniature Fine Art Show" through Dec. 3. Featured artwork will be no larger than 9 inches by 14 inches. The gallery is open from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday and is located at 36766 Highway 78. For more information, call 760-765-2168.

Santa is Coming!

"Community Christmas with Santa" will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Julian Town Hall. Take your picture with Santa, and don't forget to tell him what you want for Christmas.

"A Christmas Carol"

Kinney Productions presents "A Christmas Carol" Dec. 8-9 and 15-17 at the Julian Town Hall. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday Dec. 17. For more information, call 760-765-2119 or visit www.juliantheater.com.

December Chamber Mixer

The Julian Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the Julian Town Hall. There will be a no-host bar and refreshments. There will also be a special raffle for all membership renewals. Remember to bring a door prize to promote your business. Contact the chamber at 760-765-1857, for more information.

Holiday Home Tour

On Friday, Dec. 8, you are invited to tour five of Julian's beautiful homes, decorated for the holidays. Sponsored by the Julian Woman's Club, the Annual Holiday Home Tour raises money for the club's Scholarship Fund for Julian High School seniors.

Transportation will be provided, and the tour will begin at the Wynola Ranch Market. Tour times are 8:30 a.m.( leaving at 9 a.m.) and 12:30 p.m. (leaving at 1 p.m.). There will be some refreshments available, and the chance to purchase handmade crafts and baked goods provided by members of the Julian Woman's Club. The cost of the tour is $20 per person, and tickets are available at Julian Tea and Cottage Arts, 2124 Third St. in Julian or call 760-765-0832.

Gift Market

The Methodist Church will hold its Gift Market from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 9 at the Julian Town Hall.

Christmas Season Buffet at Pine Hills Lodge

Celebrate with a Christmas Season Buffet at The Pine Hills Lodge from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 9. The cost is $39.95 per person, and $15.95 for children 10 years and younger. Scott Williams will perform live, festive music on the Hammered Dulcimer. For reservations, call 760-765-1100.

VictorianChristmas Teas

Julian Tea & Cottage Arts is hosting its 12th Annual Victorian Christmas Teas Dec. 9-23. Seating times are noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. The cost is $17.95 per person and includes, finger sandwiches, savories, scones, breads and assorted desserts. Reservations are required, call 760-765-0832.

Handel's Messiah at Town Hall

On Dec. 17, the Julian Community Choir will present "Handel's Messiah" at 7 p.m. at the Julian Town Hall.

Merchants Breakfast

Julian Merchants Association will hold its monthly breakfast Dec. 20, at the Pine Hills Lodge, 2960 La Posada Way in Pine Hills. Breakfast starts at 8 a.m. and will be followed by the guest speaker. Craft Show

The "Home Show" will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 29 through Jan. 7 at the Julian Town Hall.

Christmas Eve Brunch at Pine Hills Lodge

On Dec. 24, the Pine Hills Lodge will host a Christmas Eve Day Sunday Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $14.95 per person. For reservations call 760-765-1100.

Craft Show

The Town Hall Crafters will hold its Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 30 and Dec. 31 at the Julian Town Hall.

New Years Eve Party

On New Years Eve, the Pine Hills lodge is hosting a party, including dinner, dancing and live music. Appetizers will be served in the Pub from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and dinner will be served from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The cost is $89.95, and includes a bottle of sparkling wine and party favors.
