School Band Programs to Present Annual Winter Concert

Ramona High School band members getting ready for a concert earlier this year.

Festive tunes will ring out as the Ramona High School Band, Royal Blues Jazz Band, Olive Peirce Middle School Band and the Elementary Band, a collection of students from the 5 elementary schools in Ramona, led under one band director, Karl Lampe will perform their annual winter concert on Dec. 20.

The repertoire for the concert will include seasonal favorites and an Alfred Reed arrangement of "Russian Christmas Music," which will be performed by the high school band.

All are invited to support this holiday program. The concert will be held in the Charles R. Nunn Performing Arts Center on the OPMS campus at 1521 Hanson Lane. Performances will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $5.
