The Music of Christmas Celebrate the Christmas season with the Ramona Women's Connection on Dec. 13 at the Ramona Sizzler. Music presented by the Congregational Choraleers, a local Women's Octet, will usher in the Christmas spirit. The Choraleers, who have been singing together for more than 10 years, will be harmonizing a Christmas medley. The show will spotlight music from the 18th through 20th centuries. The singers are: Connie Bowman, Lila Cassidy, Sandra Fansher, La Belle Hager, Joanne Glaudini-Lynch, Susan Ruputz, Susan Trukken and Mary Van Cleve. Choraleer Joanne Glaudini-Lynch will also be sharing her story "Gifts of Love," as part of the musical program. Joanne's touching story is a result of her losing her home in the Cedar Fire. Glaudini-Lynch has lived in Ramona almost all of her life and graduated from Ramona High School in 1986. She attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles as well as San Diego State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in applied environmental design. She is a photographic and textile artist producing liturgical banners and also is a webmaster/publisher at the First Congregational Church in Ramona. The Christmas event will begin at 11:30 a.m. Cost of the salad-bar luncheon and program is $8.50. Complimentary childcare is available by reservation. For reservations for the luncheon or childcare, please call Francine at 760-789-1526 or Carol at 760-788-1348.
