Elegant Affair Takes Over Mount Woodson Castle

Visitors to Mount Woodson Castle will be treated to an elegant affair on Feb. 9 when "An Evening in Monte Carlo" gets under way. Local models will be garbed in fancy attire provided by Macy's department store. Gaming tables will be set up inside the spacious castle.

There also will be a live auction, opportunity drawings and a reverse raffle during the evening. Some of the prizes donated by local merchants include a weekend stay at Eagles Nest Cottage and an opportunity to soar like an eagle in a 1943 Stearman World War II biplane trainer. Enjoy a deep sea fishing trip for the day for four on the "Christie Ann," a 38-foot Mediterranean sports charter yacht and much more.

The event is a major fundraiser for the Ramona Rotary Club and the Intermountain Volunteer Fire-Rescue Department Auxiliary. Tickets are $75. For reservations and more information, contact Sharon Greene at 760-788-6960. Sponsorships also are available from $250 to $5,000.
