Junior Contestants

Dylan Argyelan Dylan is 14-year old freshman at Ramona High School where she plays forward on the Junior Varsity Girls Soccer Team while continually working to maintain a straight "A" average	Nicki Holguin Nicki is a 15-year old sophomore at Bonita Vista High School. Nicki would like to attend Sierra Nevada College and become part of their western pleasure show team. She would also like to become a special needs physical education teacher.	Deirdre Ryan Deirdre Ryan is 14-year old 8th grader at Olive Peirce Middle School. She started riding when she was seven and has always been fascinated by the sport of rodeo. Her hobbies include softball, dance, hiking and riding her horse, Sunday.
Danielle Torres: Danielle is a 16-year old sophomore at Steel Canyon High School. She competes in California High School Rodeo and California Jr. Rodeo; in goat tying, barrel racing and pole bending events. She also competes in the National Barrel Horse Association, and the International Barrel Horse Association	Rachel Owens-Samo Rachel is a 14-year old freshman at Christian High School. She is showing horses in the 4-H Horse Club in showmanship, western equitation, western pleasure and trail, and discipline rail.	Laura Anderson Laura is a 14-year old freshman at Mountain Valley Academy. Riding horses has always been a passion for her; currently she enjoys competing at local shows, training her three horses, and going for relaxing trail rides on the weekend. She is an avid pianist of ten years and continues to take classical lessons.
Hannah Jones Hannah is a 15-year old sophomore at Mountain Valley Academy. She has been a member of the National Pony Club Association for 10 years, and is currently a C-1 rating. Hannah also been in Ramona 4-H for seven years and last year was a Ramona Jr. Fair 4-H representative.	Taylor Miville Taylor is a 16-year old home schooled Junior from Scripps Ranch whose favorite subject is business related math that is teaching her skills to use in her ranch business. Her spare time is spent at Creek Hollow, where she boards her horses.

Young Miss Contestants

Marlena Pedrico- Mencer Marlena (Lanie) is a 13-year old attending Ramona Lutheran School. She enjoys riding bareback, trail riding with her family, and helping out with the family horse drawn carriage business in Julian.	Kilyaahwii Linton Kilyaahwii is a 12-year old sixth grader at Mountain Valley Academy. She has been riding for about five years and enjoys riding her quarter horse, Libby. She enjoys barrel racing, dance, is a Girl Scout; and take karate and judo lessons.	Rachel Brown Rachel is a 11-year old in the fifth grade at Barnett Elementary. She has been riding horses since she was four years old. She is involved in 4-H showing pigs, rabbits, and horses. Her hobbies include barrel racing, gymkhana horse shows, pole bending, ranch sorting, and trail riding.
Mariah Hunt Mariah is a 12-year old 6th grader at Mesa Verde Elementary school. Besides riding and barrel racing, Mariah has been a Girl Scout for five years, plays soccer and the clarinet.	Katie Keyes Katie Keyes is a 13-year old eighth grader at Olive Peirce Middle School. She started riding horses at five years old and got her first horse at eight years old. Her hobbies include basketball, dance, softball and riding her horse Bart.	Cheyenne Burris Cheyenne is a 11-year old sixth grader at Montessori Children Elementary School. Cheyenne enjoys participating in all types of equestrian events including barrel racing, gymkhana, trail riding, western pleasure, jumping and horse vaulting.
	Emily Balderama Emily is a 12-year old seventh grader at Mesa Verde Middle School. Emily plays the cello in the school orchestra and has won two CAMPT music awards. She also enjoys softball, soccer and basketball. Emily participates in gymkhana, dressage, jumping and trail class.
