Ramona Artists Plan Open Studio Tour

Ramona's natural scenic beauty is enhanced each spring when the work of Ramona artists comes on view during the Ramona Artists' Open Studios Tour.

This annual Ramona Chamber of Commerce event, to be held April 14 and 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., allows art lovers to interact with artists in their creative habitats, ask questions and see works in progress while also enjoying the rural landscape of San Diego County.

The weekend will feature talented artists in a wide range of media, including glasswork, painting, sculpting, ceramics, gourd art, woodworking, jewelry, wearable art and photography.

The award winning artists include Susan Bainbridge, Jim Berger, Antonia Cosentino, Donna Davis, Sue Dawe, Marielouise Ertle, Lyn Feudner, Linda Kelly, Dave Lambert, Isabel McCauley, Bob Nabours, Judy Nachazel, Carolyn Nespolo, Joyce Stark, Jil Streed and Richard White.

Now in its fifth year, Ramona Artists' Open Studios Tour is sponsored by: Albertsons,

The self-guided tour may be viewed in any order and at your own pace.

Tickets, which are $10 per person and include a full-color brochure with map, are available at the Ramona Chamber office at 960 Main St. (weekdays). Tickets are also available at Schwaesdall Winery, Daniel's Liquor and Deli, Art About Africa and Daniel's West in Ramona, Joe's Java Hut at 23658 San Vicente Road in San Diego Country Estates and at the artists' studios on the days of the event.
