Ramona Art Guild Artist Presents How to Participate in Art Shows

Cathy Carey will be the featured artist when the Ramona Art Guild holds its monthly meeting on April 18. Carey, just back from the New York Expo, will present information on how to participate in art shows: how to apply, plan, what to take, and how to pack and ship the art. Her presentation will also cover establishing relationships with galleries, and related information. Carey exhibits her paintings in galleries in Virginia and California. She teaches classes and workshops at the Golden Door in Escondido, and at her studio in Escondido. The Art Guild meets at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month in the Ramona Library Community Room at 1406 Montecito Road. The guild is open to artists and those interested in art.
