Girl Scouts to Sell Nuts

Local Girl Scout troops have begun fundraising by selling packages of nuts. Sales will continue until Nov. 10. There are eight varieties offered: cashews, butter toffee peanuts, chocolate-covered raisins, spicy Cajun mix, cranberry trail mix and chocolate-covered almonds. Honey roasted peanuts and peanut brittle will each be available in special tins. The items cost $6 a package. The Girl Scouts are also looking for new members and leaders.
