Drop Off "Toys for Tots" at Ramona Health Mart Pharmacy

U.S. Marine Corps. representatives of the Toys for Tots Foundation will appear in person to collect toys from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14, at Ramona Health Mart Pharmacy, 677 Main Street. Boy Scouts will hand out candy canes, and a karaoke machine will add to the fun.

At 4 p.m., KSON radio will air live from the Pharmacy, so businesses and individuals are encouraged to bring their donations during the broadcast to be mentioned by name. Monetary donations are also welcome, as they allow the Marines to buy toys at discounts.

Donors will receive raffle tickets to be entered into a drawing for one of four gift certificates good at the gift department at the Pharmacy.

Through the gift of a shiny new toy, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation provides happiness and hope to disadvantaged children who might otherwise be overlooked during the holidays. This year marks the 60th anniversary of Toys for Tots sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.

New, unwrapped toy donations may be brought to Ramona Health Mart Pharmacy anytime during regular hours on or before Dec. 14. Call 760-789-0186 for more information.
