The Julian Woman's Club will be hosting its annual Holiday Home Tour on Friday, December 14. There will be two tours departing from the Community United Methodist Church. The first tour leaves at 9 a.m., so be sure to arrive by 8:30 a.m., and the second tour will leave at 1 p.m., so be there by 12:30 p.m. There will be refreshments before the tour at the church, along with the opportunity to purchase hand-made crafts and baked goods from club members. This is a great opportunity to find those last minute gifts and to support a worthy cause.

All monies raised from the Holiday Home Tour benefit Julian High School graduates in the form of scholarships. Every year the Julian Woman's Club works hard to raise money for Julian's youth, as well as other community programs in need of financial support. The Holiday Hour is not only a chance to view some of Julian's beautiful homes decorated for the holidays, but also a chance to show support for Julian and its youth.

This year's home tour promises a real treat! There are five homes scheduled for this year's tour; two in the Julian Estates, and the rest in the Lake Cuyamaca area. Each home will feature a decorating theme that is representative of a specific region of the world. The Merz home will feature a Western theme, the Skinner home an African theme, the Cooney home will be decorated with a Parisian theme, the Randazzo home will have a Mediterranean theme and the Behan home will have an Irish theme.

All guests on the tour will be assigned to a car with a driver that knows the route to each home. No guest will drive on the tour on their own. The cost of the tour is $20, and tickets can be purchased at Julian Tea & Cottage Arts, located at

2124 Third Street, or call 760-765-0832. For more information about the Holiday Home Tour, call 760-765-3647.
