Mountain Top Antiques Grand Opening

Mountain Top Antiques, formerly Santa Ysabel General Store, has more than a new name, it has a new location. Now located in Julian on Highway 79 south, Mountain Top Antiques displays its wares in the newly remodeled 1912 Big Red Barn behind Mountain Beadworks and Apple Junction Realty, and offers safe and ample parking, says owner Patricia McConnell.

Grand opening began on Thanksgiving weekend and continues through Christmas Eve, open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at noon on Saturday, Dec. 15, and will stay until 3 p.m. Youngsters may have their photo taken with Santa, available at $5 per child.

Mountain Top Antiques also offers handcrafted, custom cedar furniture such as tables, fireplace mantels, wine racks, hat racks, artwork and photo frames, as well as metal art objects. McConnell will even make house calls to create that custom piece of furniture or artwork, with free deliveries within 15 miles.

Mountain Top Antiques may be reached at 760-765-1139.
