Ramona Interiors Helps Fire Victim Customers Customers of Ramona Interiors who suffered losses in the fires are encouraged to call the store at 760-789-6025 for replacement receipts. The first week of the fire, Ramona Interiors owner Faye Elkins began providing duplicate receipts to customers to help them file insurance claims. Herman Salerno Honor Rescheduled As announced last month, Herman Salerno of Ramona has been named the 2007 Italian American of the Year in North San Diego County. The award is bestowed by the Sons of Italy, La Costa dei Fiori Lodge in Encinitas. Salerno was chosen in recognition of his contributions to the Italian culture. He will be honored at the lodge's annual Anniversary Dinner Dance on Jan. 26, which was rescheduled due to the fire. It will be held at St. John's Community Hall in Encinitas.
