Ideas In Wood Assists in the Fire Recovery Effort After the 2007 fires, the owners of Ideas In Wood, a Ramona cabinet and furniture maker, felt they had been spared again from the devastation of wildfire and decided it was time to step up and do what they could for the people who lost their homes. They decided to give away 132 king-size solid cherry sleigh beds to victims of the Witch Creek fire. The beds have been distributed to homeowners primarily in the Ramona, Poway, Escondido and Rancho Bernardo areas. Ideas In Wood was also a major contributor in the rebuilding effort after the devastating 2003 Cedar fire. To date, their kitchen and bathroom cabinets have been placed in over 105 homes rebuilt after these fires. Discounts are given to fire victims for all cabinets and furniture that is purchased, and there's no expiration date on this offer as the rebuilding effort can take time. Ideas In Wood is located at 850 Main St., #106, Ramona. Call them at 760-788-1560 or www.IdeasInWood.net. n
