Candied Apple Pastry Company, located at the corner of Fourth and Washington streets, is a European bakery and bistro - and more! In addition to offering delicious soups, sandwiches, salads, from-scratch breads, pastries and desserts, owner Charles Scott says that starting in April, his business will be catering four-course dinners with wine at Menghini Winery and the Orfila wine-tasting room in Julian.
Candied Apple Pastry shop and bistro is open Thursday through Monday at 7 a.m. (stop by for breakfast or brunch of quiche and stuffed croissants) and closes at 5 p.m. The bistro is closed Tuesday and open Wednesday for private party events only.
