Julian Doves and Desperados
The Julian Doves and Desperados will perform historic comedy skits at 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 3 p.m. (weather permitting) Sundays at the stage area between Cabbages and Kings and the Julian Market and Deli. For more information, call 760-765-1857.
Preschool Story Time
Every Wednesday at 11 a.m. is preschool story time, followed by a craft, at Julian Library, 1850 Highway 79. For more information on Julian Library events, call 760-765-0370.
Sit and Fit for Seniors
Thursdays at 11 a.m. at Julian Library, Matt Cramer of Alpine Physical Therapy leads gentle exercises, using a chair for stability, to increase strength and flexibility.
Yoga
Good Morning Yoga with Karen Mills is every Friday at 9 a.m. at Julian Library. Start off the weekend feeling balanced and alive!
Third Thursday Afterschool Program
On March 17 at 3 p.m. is the Third Thursday Afterschool Program at Julian Library.
Annual Daffodil Show
March 8 and 9 is Julian's Annual Daffodil Show, hosted by Blue Heron Gift Shop. The show will run Friday and Saturday, from noon to 4 p.m. The Blue Heron is located at 2116 Third St.
Daffodil Art Show
Daffodil Art Show, sponsored by Julian Art Guild, takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 7 to 9 at Julian Town Hall.
Town Hall Craft Show
Town Hall Crafters will hold a Craft Show at Julian Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., March 7-9 and March 14-30.
Easter Anticipation Party
On Sunday, March 17, an Easter Anticipation Party for children from kindergarten through eighth grade will be held in the Julian Elementary School multi-purpose room. The event, sponsored by Community United Methodist Church of Julian, begins at 2:15 p.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. Parents are welcome. Activities, stories, worship and refreshments will be enjoyed. Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch
Pine Hills Lodge will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Brunch on Sunday, March 23. Easter Egg Hunt is at 11 a.m. Brunch is served from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations are required for both the egg hunt and brunch. For more information, call 760-765-1100 or log on to www.PineHills Lodge.com.
