All-American Boys Chorus Performed Spectacular Program
 | | All-American Boys Chorus gave a spectacular performance.
|
| The All-American Boys Chorus was one of the best musical concerts ever presented in this town, said Marlene Robershaw, president of Ramona Concert Association, adding, "It was in one word - spectacular! It was more than we could ever have expected. We were entertained and thrilled by every type of music ever sung in America. There was ragtime, Duke Ellington, Rogers and Hammerstein, swing, spirituals, Dixieland, Sousa marches, Broadway, Beach Boys, Disney and a Salute to the U.S. Armed Forces."
The Chorus's goal is to help preserve this country's rich musical heritage in a highly regarded, tuition-free program.
"These 36 boys from 9 to 14 years of age were amazing," Robershaw added enthusiastically. "Their training and talent were perfect. The boys' voices surpassed the Vienna Boys Choir. Their disciplined and gifted voices combined for perfect harmony."
The All-American Boys Chorus will soon make another appearance in the county.
On May 4, the Rancho Bernardo Concert Association will host the group at Poway P.A.C. at Poway High School on Espola Rd. Ramona Concert members can enjoy reciprocity with their 2007-08 season tickets, and others may buy tickets at the door: $10 for adults and $5 for children.
