| Girls who like gymnastics or horses - or both - will find much to enjoy at the Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls Western Performance Clinic, coming to Julian, May 24 to 26.
The Riata Ranch Cowboy Girls will demonstrate their amazing horseback feats, and will instruct girls in a few of their skills.
The goal of Riata Ranch International, a non-profit organization based in Exeter, is to provide an interesting and exciting event for young people through western horsemanship and performance
skills, while building character and establishing positive core values.
Young ladies will learn many skills valuable in the arena and in their everyday life, including stage presence, poise under pressure, positive work ethics, confidence, critical thinking, and the horseback skills of vaulting, introductory trick riding, trick roping and more.
Traditional American Western values of "hard work, character development, responsibility, respect and pride" are emphasized.
The cost to attend the three-day clinic is $250, or $125 for one day.
For information or to register, call Regina Aguilera at 760-765-9763 or 760-445-3035.
