Lacaze Learning Center Hosts Open House
Lacaze Learning Center offers tutoring in all subjects for children of elementary and junior high school ages. Summer classes in chemistry and SAT preparation will be held for high school-age students, and students entering third grade through seventh grade may also elevate their skills in math and reading this summer.
Monette Dyar, the center's manager, has a Master's Degree in Education, Single Subject and Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and nearly two decades of teaching experience. She works with students to improve their reading, writing, vocabulary and math skills.
Linda Lacaze is the center's top math resource. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, a Master's Degree in Education and has many years of experience.
Julie McIntyre is in charge of the summer Chemistry Prep Class and tutors other subjects. She has passed the CBEST and is working toward her teaching credential.
To introduce the center to parents and students, Lacaze will hold an open house on Friday, May 9, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 419 D St.
The center is bright and comfortable and offers an atmosphere that encourages learning, with spacious desks and high-speed Internet access. Convenient parking is located on the alley side of the building.
